When you’re visiting other places – whether it’s the next state or a country thousands of miles away – it’s best to prepare for the unexpected. Though it’s unlikely that a medical emergency will occur when you’re away from home, taking the time to plan just in case will help ensure that you get proper care if you or a member of your family needs it. Atlantic Health’s Patient Transfer Center can coordinate a transfer from anywhere in the world to Morristown Memorial Hospital or Overlook Hospital. Experienced staff make all transfer arrangements, including medical care and communicating with insurance. Call the Patient Transfer Center for more information at 1-877-441-4450.
